Blk Mass, Wht Space

'Blk Mass, Wht Space' is a performance installation exploring the different spatial-temporal formulations within the gallery exhibition space, - especially in relation to the racialized body.

The piece is streamed through an aerial shot camera to display white identifying spectators that form an amoebic barrier, which encircles the Black performer’s movement. From this composition, the roles assumed in such space can be interrogated,– highlighting the correlation between spectatorship, white silence, and activism.
